CATHERINE BURR has twenty years of experience dealing with workplace harassment: the investigation of complaints, remedy and follow-up, policy development, organizational audits, and the education and training of supervisors, managers, union officials. Employees, human resources professionals and investigators.
Catherine has worked with both the Ontario and Canadian Human Rights Commissions. Since 1991 Catherine has taught administrative studies at the University of Western Ontario, as well as providing human resources management consulting to a wide range of private, public and non-profit clients. She is currently writing a book on how to investigate workplace harassment complaints.

LESLIE REAUME is a lawyer who specializes in the resolution of human rights disputes which arise in the context of labour and employment cases. She is trained in alternative dispute resolution and applies those skills in working with employers to effectively investigate and resolve human rights complaints.
She represented the Vince family at the Coroner’s Inquest into the death of Theresa Vince, the first public inquiry into the nature of sexual harassment, its impact on victims and employers, the remedies available for addressing it, and the extent to which employers and governments could act to eradicate it.
Leslie is also an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario.

SHARON CHAPMAN was sexually harassed and assaulted in the workplace for 14 years and initiated a civil suit against the company and 24 men. A Human Rights complaint is also pending.
Sharon helped establish the first support group for survivors of sexual harassment in Ontario, and meets with many women throughout the province who are dealing with this issue.
